Jesus' True Family - Matthew 12:46-50

• 1. What thoughts and feelings does the biblical teaching that Christ is our "Brother" (cf. Hebrews 2:10-17) produce in you? What do you think God intends that truth to produce in you?

• 2. What responses is the knowledge that God is your Father producing? What specific actions or attitudes can you point to in your life that grow out of that knowledge?

• 3. What earthly relationship is it most difficult for you to no longer regard "according to the flesh" (II Corinthians 5:16)?

• 4. How might Christ be calling you to honor your brotherly/sisterly relationship with other believers, especially those in our body? What forms of expression might this brotherliness/sisterliness take? Read Romans 12:3-13 to stir some thoughts.
