Sermon Application Questions 1 Timothy 1:12-17 1. Out of the three "results" of God's grace (strength, forgiveness, transformation) we see in 1 Timothy 1:12-14, which one do you feel especially grateful for this week? Why? 2. In what ways do you need God's strengthening or transforming grace in your life? 3. Paul says that God was merciful to him in order to reveal something to us. When you think about the conversion and ministry of the apostle Paul, what effect does it have in your life? 4. Who is the person (or people) on your heart that you most want to see God's saved by God's grace? 5. In verse 17, after reflecting on his own salvation, Paul worshiped God. In what ways can we express our praise and worship to God for His grace in our own lives? |
