1. What has Jesus' call to deny yourself, take up your cross and follow him meant for you? What has your response to this looked like? Think carefully about each part of what Jesus said.
2. What would be your dream of "gaining the whole world"? Weigh that against what you have in Christ. How do they compare?
3. Do you feel like you have a robust and active understanding of the life to come? Is it biblically fueled or more a product of fuzzy sentimentality? What kinds of things might God use to help you gain a greater clarity and longing for the life to come? |
